The practice of healing arts has existed for thousands of years. It is often synonymous with terms such as holistic healing, complimentary or alternative practices. Healing Arts have commonly come to be known as non-allopathic modalities of self-healing that focus on treating the mind and body together rather than viewing them as separate systems. While there are many new methods and techniques emerging constantly, the basic premise of alternative healing or holistic healing suggests that people be proactive in their lifestyle choices, healthcare needs, and recreational activities while being supported by alternative practitioners, treatments, products, supplements, and attitudes.

Aromatherapy is a therapeutic and natural practice that can be used to promote health and a sense of well being. It uses essential oils extracted or distilled from plant materials that contain concentrated and pure plant properties. Essential oils are found in various parts of the plant (twigs, leaves, flowers, barks, resins, seeds, buds, and in the rind of some fruits). Essential oils must be treated with respect as they are highly potent and in some cases, contraindicated for some conditions. They should never be ingested. Please exercise caution and keep them away from children.

Aura-Soma™ is an energy system that is based on color energies, plant energies, crystal and gem energies, herbal extracts, and essential oils. It may be used to align the subtle energy systems of the body with those of the auras and chakras.

In 1989, Inger Naess of Norway developed a line of personal care products based on the science and philosophy of color therapy. Geotran™ is the language of all possibilities. Geotran™ is the numerical, digital, and geometric language of creation. Geotran™ restores a person’s ability to have choice by working with the field (morphogenetic energy field surrounding the body) through spin points on or around the body. Reiki is considered to be a natural method of healing originating in Japan. Reiki is a Japanese expression for “universal spiritual life energy.” This energy is often referred to as Chi, Ki or Prana. Energy lives in all of creation and is an intrinsic quality of all living beings. Reiki works with this energy on a subtle level and may be used to access the body’s own innate healing power.
